Hold the device 1.5 inches from the center of the forehead, ensure the skin is clean, and wait 10 seconds between measurements. The device works best in stable room temperatures between 50°F and 104°F.
How does the fever alarm function?
The display uses a color-coded backlight and beeps to indicate temperature levels. An orange backlight with 3 beeps indicates temperatures above 99.3°F, while a red backlight with 5 beeps indicates temperatures above 100.4°F.
